The Bowling Pin.

The Pin.

''Oh no I am going to get hit by a heavy bowling ball!!!My life is ruined.''I said to myself. I can see a stranger picking up the big fat bowling ball, carrying it to the game area, because he is switching it for another one. The other pins are excited to be knocked down especially if they are next to the gutter .''I HATE IT. This is the WORST JOB EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!''I yelled.

The man raised his right arm and threw the ball at me and he got a strike, all ten pins down,INCLUDING ME!!!!!
''My head hurts so badly.'' I cried.

The sweeper sweeps me up and puts my sisters in. They start screaming with excitement.

  1. Kia Ora Shoal,
That was a great story to read because of the way you wrote yourself as the bowling pin. I think that's a great idea and you are very clever. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing what else you post on your blog. Great job.

  2. Hi Shoal,
That would be the worst job wouldn't it- getting knocked dwon all the time. i think I would much rather be the bowling ball. Anyway nice writing. I hope you can get your picnic story published this term too because I thought youdid a really great job with that piece of writing as well. Keep up the great blogging.

  3. What a fantastic story Shoal! It took me a little while to realise that you were writing from the point of view of a bowling pin (I must be getting old!) How clever of you. Your writing was very interesting to read. Well done.
