On Saturday at 4:00am an earthquake hit Christchurch. Unexpectedly the earthquake measured 7.1 on the Richter scale and was the same measurement of the earthquake in Haiti. Luckily only a few people got hurt, sadly 1 died from heart attack.The extensive damage made houses collapse and buildings got split in two. At least 100,000 homes were damaged and about 450 need to be demolished. The roads buckled and buildings crumbled.
